Our new favourite place to go during our 18 day holiday I think we went here every other day either for food or happy hour ! What can I say the team that work here are wonderful and a credit to fat cats family . Food was 10/10 everytime . Affordable prices and a big selection to choose from from either breakfast brunch or dinner and dessert . We was sad to leave here yesterday on our last night . The staff really do make you feel like family and recognise you each time you go back . Already counting down until next year when we can return again . Shout out to Velma , happy , Jessica , Ella , the man we think may be the boss sorry we didn’t catch your name and all the other staff who we didn’t get the names of once again you all really are a fantastic team ~ Sophie W

Tolles Ambiente und super nette Bedienung. Wir haben beim ersten Mal nur eine Kleinigkeit für unseren ständig hungrigen Nachwuchs bestellt. Beim zweiten Mal waren wir dort Abendessen nach dem Jetski fahren im Hafen. Die Auswahl ist übersichtlich und die Preise absolut günstig. Mein Sohn der an diesem Tag Geburtstag hatte, bekam einen Cheesecake zum Nachtisch geschenkt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. ~ Karina S

Das Essen war lecker und ausreichend. Der Krautsalat hätte mehr Geschmack vertragen können aber dafür gebe ich keinen Stern Abzug, da man alles nachwürzen kann, wenn man das möchte. Das Essen hat etwas gedauert, was evtl. daran lag, dass eine etwas größere Gruppe vor uns bestellte, dafür gibt es trotzdem nur 1 Stern Abzug, da wir keinen anderen Vergleich haben. ~ Roman G

Lovely staff, reasonable prices. We went at lunch rush hour and had to catch a boat in just 40 minutes. Very kind staff member (presumably the owner) said there’s no way we would receive our order in time due to huge influx of people. We greatly respected this honest and respectful business approach and highly commend her for this. Instead we had some lovely drinks (Sylvester cocktail—simple yet well-balanced—and an Irish coffee—strong and not for the faint-of-heart) and an indulgent cheesecake (recipe for a heart attack, but that’s what we signed up for). Can’t judge other food but we saw what they were carrying out to other tables and it certainly looked proper. ~ Mark B

Fint väder och god mat och några öl … kan livet bli bättre. Ribsen var toppen och fish and chips var däremot lite smaklös och den drar ner helheten lite. Var där idag igen och denna gång lever, bacon och lök ... Supergott och höjer till 5 stjärnor. Extra kul att servitrisen bott i Sverige ett år. ~ Amy Z

I was recommended to Fat Cats due to their good service & awareness of allergies. I am Coeliac, so it’s very important my food is kept gluten free and cross contamination is avoided. Our server was very kind and checked to see if I could have peri peri chicken, even though on the menu it indicated I couldn’t. They adjusted the recipe for me and I was able to enjoy a traditional Portugese meal. There were plenty of options across breakfast, lunch & dinner. Although the meal took alittle bit than longer to come out, this is clearly indicated across the restaurant and menu due to cooking from fresh. It was worth the wait! We did not realise really as we were happy enjoying our drinks. The cocktails are incredible too! I love how they’re all cat themed 😂 Staff are very friendly and welcoming I would definitely visit again without a doubt. ~ Becky H

Excellent value food with a very good choice especially for vegetarians & vegans. We visited three times during our stay and my wife who is vegetarian enjoyed three different meals which she said were all delicious. My first meal was char grilled chicken burger which was lovely. Second time had fish which was rather well done but the accompaniments were all good. Third time nachos & chilli which was not so good - Chilli was nice but nachos were very cheap tasting. The lady who owned offered excellent customer service and most of the young staff were very polite and well mannered. Well worth a visit! ~ David M

Mainio ravintola söpöllä terassilla satamassa! Palvelu oli tehokasta, juomat ja ruoat tulivat aika reippaasti ja olivat oikein hyviä. Asian chicken bites riisin kera oli oikein mainio ja hieman tulinen. Jäätelöannokset olivat erinomaiset, kannattaa kokeilla passionhedelmäkastiketta! ~ Emilia R

Super Ort zum Frühstücken. Preis-Leistung unschlagbar und jeden Penny wert. Die Bedienung war schnell, höflich und sehr zuvorkommend. Sehr gemütlicher Außenbereich. Super bei tollem Wetter. Die Sessel sind sehr gemütlich die Karte ist übersichtlich und leicht verständlich. ~ Francesco C

I have read mixed reviews regarding this restaurant but we loved it. (And we can be very picky when it comes to food and service) The outside seating area overlooking the marina is excellent. Service from all staff we encountered was polite and professional. Clear English speaking including the (manager)? Who appears to be English. The food was very very well priced. We had two wraps that were stuffed full, a small chilli nachos that was very generous portion, a beer, water and cola. The bill was less than £20 equivalent. Best lunch meal we have had all week and the cheapest by far. ~ C E

Wohl mit so das beste Lokal zum Essen aber auch trinken in der Hafenpromenade von Albufeira. Große Karte mit viel auch Auswahl auch für Vegetarier. Siehe Foto. Preislich ok, Bedienungen sehr freundlich und auf zack. Waren mehrfach da und wurden nie enttäuscht. ~ Sebastian R

Direkt am Yachthafen von Abulfeira liegt das Restaurant Fat Cat. Hier haben wir zu Mittag gegessen und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Fish & Chips und Appelcrumble hielten, was die Präsentation versprach. Die Bedienung war schnell und freundlich. Hier kann man auf jeden Fall hingehen. ~ Frank R

What A Great Place. A 30 minute walk from the old town to the Marina we found this gem. Good selection on the menu and great portion sizes at a good price. You could tell the food had a little something extra to where we had eaten in the old town all week. Felt and looked like the chef cared about what they were producing rather than just getting another meal out. Most friendly and attentive staff we've experienced all week and all spoke great English. The only problem we have is that we found it at the end of our week's holiday rather than the beginning. Highly recommend. ~ Ian B

Repas imprévu dans la Marina d’albufeira , une fois encore il ne fallait pas manger dans un attrape touristes. À 15h , nous y déjeunons , avons composé notre salade avec l’aide attentionnée d’une serveuse. Les salades étaient copieuses, le poulet excellent. ~ Sandra M

Wir sind gerne und öfter hier. Es ist typisch britisch. Zum Frühstück gibt es eine große Auswahl, sowie eine große Auswahl zum Mittag- und Abendessen. Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist nett. Und es schmeckt sehr gut. Sogar Milchshake und Cocktails. ~ Katharina V

Sehr lecker und sehr große Portionen. Wir hatten das Chili con Carne als Vorspeise. Das Shirlon Steak jeweils mit 2 unterschiedlichen Saucen und 2 selbst zusammen gestellte Burger mit Beilagen. Wir kennen es nicht, dass man sieben Burger selber zusammen stellen kann. Alles war sehr lecker. Die Portionen waren sehr groß. Ich selber habe meinen Burger und die Beilagen leider nicht geschafft. Trotzdem würden wir sehr gerne wieder kommen, denn es gab noch mehr auf der Menüliste, die sich lecker anhörte. ~ Katja P

Der Service und das Essen waren sehr gut. Ich hatte das Hamburger Meal und es war wirklich sehr lecker. Dazu gab es Kartoffeln, Salat und Krautsalat. Tolle Auswahl. Die Portion war für den Preis super. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen Liebe Grüße und Dank. ~ Lisa K

We hebben hier een paar keer wat gedronken met wat kleine hapjes. De service en snelheid van het personeel is echt geweldig. Daar kunnen de buren nog wat van leren. Het eten was uitstekend en de sangria en cocktails ook helemaal top. ~ Nik d

A faire, pour prendre un café ou déjeuner. Lieu hyper bien située sur la marina, si vous pouvez réservez en terrasse c'est le top. Très bon accueil, musique d'ambiance OK et les prix sont aussi plus sympa que les terrasses voisines 😉. Vraiment top 😎🤩 ~ Stéphanie G

Very good vegan food. I ate something that I never ate before and I like it. It was the vegan chilly. My boyfriend ordered the vegan burger and it was really big and good. And he is picky with the food but he ate it whole. And the service was really good. The music was a little too loud so they offered us to seat outside on the terrace that we didn't see. But, at the end it was nice because it was live music, and good music and people were enjoying it. One lady also danced and the husband was waiting so they can finally sit and order 😂 ~ Alen C

Family of 4 visited 30th Aug. Visited last year, and nothing has changed. Food once again is plentiful and tasty. Cocktails are great, still reasonably priced. Great, friendly service by the waiters. Well worth a visit. We will be returning before our holiday ends July 2025 My wife and I came to Portugal for 2 weeks, and during that time, we visited Fat Cats 3 times. That is how much we enjoy eating here. Lovely setting, overlooking the marina. Waiters and waitresses are always friendly and eager to make your meal memorable. The food is always really good. Decent portions at reasonable prices. The homemade chicken curry is delicious, so are the burgers. A must try restaurant if you are in Albufaira. 10/10. June 2026 Wife and I visited one of our favourite restaurants again and it was still really good. We had cocktails to start. For starters I had the Asian chicken bites and my wife had sauteed mushrooms. We both had burgers. I had the build a burger option which is great as you can add exactly what you want in your burger. ~ Chris B

Been here for the past 4 years Food and service here in fat cats has always been amazing I had the build a burger marinated chicken burger and added everything I wanted on it and it was sensational. Real chips and beautiful garlic mayo, our sever happy was very attentive made sure we had everything we needed without being over bearing best server I've had on my holiday by a mile. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone, it's a must try in albufiera..... Also the passion fruit daquiry also well worth a mention 5 stars. ~ 9fleming

Chili con carne à tomber par terre et légèrement épicé, pile ce qu'il faut ! Hamburger veggie très bon également ! Mocktail pina colada 🥰 En dessert le cheesecake un délice. Cerise sur le gâteau, personnel super sympa ~ Thom
